05/29 Pre-Ride Questionnaire

Tell us about the first time you rode a bike.
My memory betrays me but I’m sure I fell flat on my face.

Tell us about a crazy moment or embarrassing experience with Type 1.
Airplane orange juice saved my life once!

What’s your go-to low snack?
Whatever fruit I have on hand!

Tell us something on your bucket list.
Having real conversations with my friends in French, Spanish, and Korean is high on my list, as is living outside of the US! I’d also love to meet any of the Obamas or former Uruguayan President Jose Mujica but that’s more of a dream than a bucket list item 🙂

If your friends could pick three adjectives to describe you, what would they be?
Silly, passionate, caring

What’s the last thing you watched on TV and why?
I haven’t watched T.V. in awhile but I recently saw the incredible film Hidden Figures!

Tell us something about yourself that most people wouldn’t know.
I often get caught up in my own head thinking about the purpose of life and our place in it.

What’s a super power you wish you had?
I wish I had the power to help people understand other people (dispelling ignorance or lack of empathy I suppose)!

Tell us something you’re good at!
I am an excellent listener!

If you had a theme song for yourself, what would it be?
“I Was Here” by the one and only Beyonce <3 If you had a nick name/alter ego for yourself during the ride, what would it be?
El – I’ve always wanted to go by El but it’s never stuck.
